My love of music is apparent in my teaching as well as my musical accomplishments. I earned a bachelor's degree in Piano Pedagogy and a master's degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Utah State University. While attending, I was awarded multiple teaching awards, including the Utah State University Youth Conservatory's Teacher of the Year Award. In addition to my studies, I have played piano for over twenty years and taught piano for over a decade.

Over that time, Michelle's Piano Studio has helped children and adults experience music and the piano in new and exciting ways. My teaching is tuned to each student's personal learning style and skill set. My skill as a teacher and a pianist is evident in the growth my students make in their personal musical journeys. They learn to love music and develop the skills necessary to play it well.
